I started my Bullet Journal not knowing what to expect but am now enjoying planning my weeks in a new way. I enjoy releasing some of my creativity in my journalling through different themed months. So, I am making a post about my monthly covers that I did last year and the themes they are for.
Bullet journalling has also helped me keep motivated to organize my weeks because if I spend time making a weekly spread and calendar, I want to fill up the space I created. 🙂
I hope you enjoy and maybe can even get some inspiration to go and create your own journal! If you want some tips on how to start a bullet journal, check out my post.
12 Monthly covers to inspire…
I actually started mine in June but I am ordering them in a normal calendar for your own reference. I have been bullet journalling for 2 years so I decided I would share some of my favorite month covers and maybe inspire you to journal too!
January

For January my theme was some of my favorite things. I did an art themed week and one for books. I also love owls so that is the cover:).
February

February was a Disney theme with the castle for the cover and different movie themed spreads. I may do a separate post about it soon.
March

March was a galaxy theme. It was my first time trying watercolors on a bullet journal and it ended up working well!
April

For April I did a simple theme with flowes and simple lines in the spreads.
May

In May I did a Star Wars theme and used watercolor for the sunset month cover.
June

In June I did a citrus theme because of the summer colors in citrus. I used markers to color in the fruit slices.
July

July was a Paris/ travel theme. I drew the Eifel Tower and post cards on the month calendar.
August

For August, I did an Orca Whale theme and had similar pages throughout with waves and Orcas on each.
September

September was ocean themed and I used watercolor on most of the spreads. I love ocean creatures and jellyfish are so fun to draw.
October

October is one of my favorite spreads because I spent the most time on it. The month theme was Beauty and the Beast.
November

For November I did a fall theme and had several spreads with fall trees and colorful leaves.
December

In December of course I did a Christmas theme and had several festive spreads with red and green.
I hope you are inspired and can maybe get some ideas for bullet journal themes through this post! Make sure to comment below!
